Feeling stuck? Pick one prompt below and just start. Don't think. Don't judge. Just go.
âš¡ Quick-Fire Prompts (5 min)
Use these when you have no idea where to start:
- Write down 10 ideas for your current project — even the terrible ones
- Describe your project as if you're explaining it to a 10-year-old
- What would you make if you knew no one would see it?
- List 5 things that inspired you this week
- Set a 5-minute timer and write/draw/create non-stop
- What's the smallest version of this idea you could finish today?
- Steal like an artist — pick someone you admire and ask: what would THEY do?
🎨 Creative Exercises (15–30 min)
Use these when you want to go deeper:
- Morning Pages: Write 3 pages of pure stream-of-consciousness. No editing.
- Constraints Game: Create something with ONE rule (only 3 colors, under 60 seconds, no words, etc.)
- Reverse It: Take your idea and flip it completely. What's the opposite? Is it better?
- Reference Remix: Pick 3 pieces of work you love and combine elements from each into something new
- The Ugly Draft: Make the worst version of your idea on purpose. Then improve it once.
- Voice Note Dump: Record yourself talking about your idea for 3 minutes. Don't stop.
